WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING YOUR GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: DIRECTORS CUT GAMING PC
Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is an open-world adventure with breathtaking visual graphics of rural Japan, so ensuring you have a PC with powerful graphics performance is essential.
To ensure you get the best gaming experience, here are the components you should focus on when building your Ghost of Tsushima PC:
PROCESSOR
A good PC processor is quite important for running Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut. The processor (CPU) is the heart of your computer and handles most of the game’s operations, including AI calculations, physics simulations, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
For a game like Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, which is graphically intensive and has a large open world, a capable CPU ensures that the game runs smoothly without any bottlenecks that could cause lag or stuttering. It’s especially important if you’re aiming for high frame rates or resolutions.
The minimum CPU requirements for the game are an Intel Core i3-7100 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200, but for a more seamless experience, especially at higher settings, you would want at least an Intel Core i5-12400F or an AMD Ryzen 5 5600. If you’re looking to play the game with the highest graphical settings and resolutions, even more powerful processors would be beneficial.
In summary, while the GPU handles rendering the visual elements of the game, the CPU ensures that all other aspects of the game’s world and mechanics run effectively. So, investing in a good processor will enhance your gaming experience with Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut.
GRAPHICS
Absolutely, a good PC graphics card is essential for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut to ensure the game runs smoothly and you get the full visual experience. The graphics card (GPU) is responsible for rendering the images, animations, and videos that you see on the screen. For a graphically intensive game like this, having a capable GPU means you can enjoy higher resolutions, better frame rates, and enhanced graphical details.
The game requirements show that while you can run the game with older or less powerful graphics cards, investing in a good GPU will greatly enhance your experience, especially if you’re aiming for higher resolutions and smoother gameplay.
RAM
For Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, 16GB of RAM is the recommended amount to ensure a smooth gaming experience. This should be sufficient to run the game at 60 FPS at 1080p resolution. While the game can run with 8GB of RAM at the minimum requirements, 16GB will provide better performance and allow for more background processes without impacting the game.
There is no mention of a requirement for 32GB of RAM in the official recommendations. However, if you plan on doing more demanding tasks such as high-resolution video editing, running multiple applications simultaneously, or futureproofing your system for more advanced games, then opting for 32GB might be beneficial. But for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut specifically, 16GB will suffice
STORAGE
For Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, it is highly recommended to use an SSD. While the game requires 75GB of storage space and can technically be installed on a traditional hard drive (HDD), an SSD will offer significantly faster load times and a smoother overall gaming experience.
The speed of an SSD can greatly enhance how quickly the game boots up, loads new areas, and retrieves data, which is particularly beneficial for games with large open worlds like Ghost of Tsushima. So, while not mandatory, an SSD is a worthwhile investment for the best performance.
