When it comes to custom gaming PCs, how you build them doesn’t have to be a purely practical consideration, it can also reflect you and your personality.
Whilst some people are building functional, no-lights, no-glass, monoliths that are built purely for performance rather than looks, others are building fish-tank systems with RGB on every visible surface and LED screens and monitors in every available space.
Whatever your preference, you can completely change the feel and aesthetic of your system with your component choices, and nowhere is that more noticeable than by going for an all-white build.
If you spend any amount of time looking at pc builds online, it will be difficult to miss the beautiful, minimalist, all-white gaming PCs. People have turned white components into a full aesthetic, setting up stunning gaming sanctuaries that highlight the crisp, white systems they’ve built.
If an all-white gaming set-up appeals to you, then there are a few things you should be thinking about. Firstly, there simply aren’t as many white components as there are black or grey. That’s definitely changing, but if you’re set on an all-white system, you are going to have fewer options.
Secondly, the white components that are available tend to be a little more expensive than the same component (or equivalent) in a different colour so white PCs are likely to cost you a little bit more.
Components to consider
Chassis
Arguably the most striking component in your build, your chassis (or case) is what houses all your components and can really set the stage of your build. There are some absolutely stunning options available to you now, but some of our favourites are:

Motherboard
Often overlooked, a lot of PC owners only care that the motherboard lets them use the CPU they want, but when it comes to building a show-stopping, all-white build, you really need to focus on your motherboard.
ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4 MOTHERBOARD
The Asus ROG STRIX Z790-A is a stylishly understated motherboard that makes a great base for an all-white build. The board comes with RGB pre-installed but it’s subtle so you’re in no danger of your motherboard outshining your other components, making this is a great option for a component-led build.
ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI MOTHERBOARD
Asus delivers another understated motherboard design that lets your other components take the spotlight. It’s a solid, affordable option that is well future-proofed and looks premium, so it is a great option if you’re looking for reliable performance but want to spend the majority of your budget elsewhere.
GIGABYTE Z790 AERO G DDR5 MOTHERBOARD
A premium looking motherboard offering from Gigabyte that sits beautifully in an all-white build. The Z790 Aero G is packed with features that make it a great option not just for gamers, but for creators too. The design of this board looks great in an all-white build and it has the features to back-up its looks.
Graphics Card
Frequently the star of many a gaming PC, and nowhere is that more evident than in an all-white build. Not only is your GPU going to be responsible for your games looking excellent, but it’s also front and centre most times in your PC, especially if you have a glass side to your system. With vertical graphics card holders growing in popularity, you can really make the GPU the central focus of your system, so its important to pick the right one.
We like Gigabyte’s offering when it comes to all-white components. In particular, we like the Gigabyte GeForce EAGLE OC ICE, or the Gigabyte GeForce RTX AERO OC. Both styles of GPU look fantastic and really work with an all-white build, plus, you can get all the latest 40-series and 40-series Super graphics card models, so you know you’re getting exceptional graphical performance, as well as a great-looking component.
Cooling
Whether you’re a fan of air-cooling or liquid-cooling, there are some great options available for your all-white PC build. As with everything else, you want to ensure that you’re balancing performance with the aesthetic that you’re looking for, which is why we use a select number of products.

Cool, quiet and powerful, the Deepcool AK620 looks great in an all-white build but also comes with a built-in digital display which shows temperature and CPU usage at a glance, giving a real, practical benefit, even beyond the super-efficient cooling.
COOLER MASTER MASTER LIQUID ML240L / 360L
Getting into liquid cooling, the Cooler Master, Master liquid 240L or 360L provides excellent performance at a reasonable price point.
CORSAIR ICUE H100I ELITE CAPELLIX XT WHITE LIQUID CPU COOLER
One of the best liquid coolers on the market, the Corsair iCUE series of coolers (and the H150i and the LCD XT version) all look absolutely incredible and will add a touch of class to any all-white build. They cost a little more than some of the other cooling options on this list, but if you’re after the best-of-the-best for your all-white build, you’re definitely going to want to be considering Corsair.
RAM
