Tired of running into dungeons in World of Warcraft only to find out you’re not at the right level? It’s a common scenario for many gamers considering the game has over 60 levels. Even after a few rounds, it’s hard to remember all the levels, the dungeons and the instances. This little guide is some sort of cheat sheet that will direct you through the dungeons, the instances and the levels at which you can run into the dungeons.
Ragefire Chasm (Levels 13-18)
You will have to work your way up to level 13 to be able to get into your first dungeon. Once there, Ragefire Chasm also known as RFC, will be your first challenge. Luckily, it eases you into the competition since it's a horde only dungeon.
The dungeon is located inside Orgrimmar. To clear the dungeon, you have to combat the Troggs and the Searing Blade Clan in groups of five to ten players.
Wailing Caverns (Levels 17-24)
Because this is a low-level dungeon and it's located in the Barrens, it's also a Horde dungeon. Here, your team has to put up with the Druids of the Fang, but the dungeon also presents plenty of great rewards of the players making it completely worth the trouble.
The Deadmines (Levels 17-26)
DM or VC as it’s otherwise known as an Alliance dungeon. It's located in Westfall and sets the stage for players to battle Edwin Van Cleef and the Defias Brotherhood. It's a great dungeon to run if you're a low-level alliance player. If not for experience, for the gear and quests that you can get in this dungeon.
Shadowfang Keep (Levels 22-30)
Say hello to the first neutral dungeon in the game! Well, SFK is often considered Horde, but many alliance players make runs here in early levels. Other than the plenty of drops you stand to pick up, there are plenty of quests to complete. But, you have to go through Home of Archmage Arugal and the Worgen Army.
Blackfathom Deeps (Levels 24-32)
BFD is also a low-level neutral dungeon. It's in Ashenvale and features both Horde and Alliance players. Most alliance players come here when levelling. The temple of old gods is housed in this dungeons in the watery caverns. Some of the must-haves in this dungeon include the levelling wand casters as well as other solid drops for players.

Within the same levels, you can also get to enjoy the Stockades in the Stormwind. This is an alliance only dungeon and has prisons that are heavily guarded. You have to put up a spirited fight against criminals who have some excellent levelling gear to clear the dungeon.
Conclusion
Once you get to level 30, you have plenty of options to pick from. Each dungeon from level 30 to level 60 is unique and features different drops and a different challenge. It’s important to note that the number of players recommended for each dungeon remains the same throughout. Keep a team of about five to ten players for the best chances.
